DNA Spray is a chemical with a unique identifier sprayed from a canister by police officers to be able to identify criminals if they escape. This DNA spray lasts weeks in real life, it cannot just be simply washed off. Our script implements this into FiveM.

How do I use it?

It’s simple! We have implemented the DNA Spray canister as an addon weapon into the game, so all you have to do is run the command to get it initially. When you want to pull it out, simply select it from your weapon wheel and spray using the fire key, as if shooting a gun.
When you have sprayed someone, you can go up to them and run a command to check whether they have DNA Spray on them. This stays on them until they run the command to remove the spray from themselves.

Configuration

This resource works straight out the box. If you wish, we also have a number of configuration options to make it more unique to your servers, including the range at which the spray works, changing the commands, and how much spray is contained in each canister.

We include full configuration for changing all language within the script.

Optimisation

As with all our resources, this script is very optimised to ensure we create no issues within your server. Even when spraying, this script displays no more than 0.05ms in the resource monitor.

Installation

Simply add the DNA Spray resource folder to your server resources folder, and add it to your server.cfg.

Frameworks

This resource is standalone, and works regardless of any frameworks so that anyone can enjoy it!
