Kidnap and Torture other Players!

Inspiration Behind the Script:

When I used to be a player, playing on multiple servers, there where times that we wanted to Kidnap some player, either to interrogate him, or keep him as a hostage. During the interrogation scenarios, all we could do is use /me, or hit the victim with a bat, to roleplay the scenario. There were no such game mechanics to create an immersive enviroment, and neither have been until today.

I present to you lab-Kidnap, a script that provides you with fully synchronised animations and cutscenes between all players, to ensure a next level of immersion for your criminal roleplaying!

Key Features:

  1. Synchronised Animations:

    • All players, can take part and observe the scenario in real-time, all of the animations are synced across all players!
  2. Troll-Proof:

    • This script ensures that there will be no forced scenarios, without consent from both parties. A request is sent to the victim, and he gets to Accept or Deny taking part in the scenario.
  3. Next Level of Immersion:

    • Using Networked Synchronised Scenes, this script utilises the most perfect and detailed animations. The preview speaks for itself.
  4. Easy Setup:

    • All you have to do (is follow the damn train Cj) is drag and drop the resource in your resources folder. You can also translate everything to your prefered language!
  5. Optimised:

    • The script runs at 0.00ms while idle, and up to 0.05 while in usage.

Update 23/1:

  • Added qb-target support.
  • Added configuration for vans.
  • Added two new files, client/editable.lua and server/editable.lua
    • In these files there are events that trigger when a kidnap or torture happens. You can trigger your dispatch system or anything you’d like in there.
